Profile
Jin-Kit KOH (fondly known as “Kit”) has counselled clients with anxiety, depression caused by work- or career-related stress, educational concerns, caregiver fatigue, financial pressure, and grief from the loss of a relationship or loved one. He is trained in mental health and career counselling and has helped students and working adults in both these aspects. Depending on the clients’ preferences, Kit counsels in English or Chinese (Mandarin).
Kit comes to counselling after decades in the business world. He gained valuable insights into the challenges faced by students and working adults through his years as a business leader, when he led multi-national organisations and talents at the board and management levels, and through his time as an Education and Career Guidance Counsellor at the Ministry Of Education.

In-depth
KOH Jin Kit (aka Kit) completed his post-graduate education in counselling and
organisational psychology from James Cook University (Singapore/Australia) and
City University of New York (USA) respectively. The master’s degrees are
recognized by the relevant professional associations in Singapore, Australia, and/or
the US.
Prior to joining Promises Healthcare, Kit provided education and career counselling
to youths in a polytechnic, and mental health counselling to university students and working adults. Kit is fluent in English and Chinese and counsels in these languages.
Kit has had 30 years of work experience in the IT, Fintech, and Hospitality sectors,
with the last 20 years holding leadership roles in organisations, management teams,
and boards of directors for profit-oriented and not-for-profit organisations. He has
lived and worked in North America, Hongkong/China, Taiwan, and Singapore.
Combining his counselling skills, vast industrial and life experiences, together with his compassionate nature, Kit offers counselling help to both locals and expatriates.
