Nicole completed her undergraduate studies in Singapore and was sent to Sydney to do her postgraduate studies under the Healthcare Graduate Studies Award awarded by the Ministry of Health. Nicole was the pioneer clinical neuropsychologist at Changi General Hospital, establishing the neuropsychology service and standards. Together with a research team, Nicole had developed a Virtual Reality Cognitive Training intervention programme to improve services for patients with mild cognitive impairment, which was awarded the Singhealth Allied Health Innovative Practice award. As a Senior Clinical Neuropsychologist, Nicole also provided clinical supervision to junior psychologists at CGH. She conducted training and talks on various neuropsychology topics within and outside of the hospital.

Nicole is experienced in providing assessment and intervention services across diverse patient populations and severity levels. This includes neurodegenerative disorders (e.g. dementia), neurodevelopmental disorders (e.g. ADHD, autism, intellectual disability), and acquired brain injury (e.g. stroke, traumatic brain injury). Through her time living abroad, she has interacted and worked with patients from different backgrounds and nationalities, appreciating the nuances of cultural and linguistic diversity.

Nicole is also a Certified ADHD Life Coach, who is trained to work collaboratively with clients to help them to better manage their lives and live out their potential through enhancing self-awareness and developing effective strategies. With her training in neuropsychology, she has a deep understanding of the neurological differences and cognitive difficulties experienced by those with ADHD. She firmly believes that individuals with ADHD can lead a fulfilling and productive life.

Nicole is currently a PhD student at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore. She is researching post-stroke cognitive and vocational rehabilitation, hoping to improve services provided to stroke survivors in the future.

In her free time, Nicole volunteers with Unlocking ADHD, a local non-profit organization aimed at supporting ADHDers. She enjoys spending time with her dog, hunting for the best coffee spots, and indulging in self-care.
