Dr. Munidasa Winslow

Dr Munidasa Winslow specialises in addiction and impulse control disorders such as alcohol, substance dependence, gambling, gaming and sexual compulsivity amongst others. He is a pioneer in addiction and impulse control disorders in the Asia-Pacific region.

Before founding Promises, Dr Winslow served as chief of the Addiction Medicine Department at IMH. He played a pioneering role in the setting up of the National Addictions Management Service (NAMS).

Dr. Lohsnah Jeevanandam

Lohsnah is a Doctoral-level trained Clinical Psychologist with 15 years of working experience. Other than being a practitioner, she is also a passionate educator and trainer. 

Lohsnah works with children, adolescents and adults in a range of issues from low self-esteem, to anxiety, depression, and stress management. 

Her other area of interest is Intellectual Disability. Other than formal diagnostic assessment, she also works with the family and services to support the person in their emotions and behaviours. She provides guidance for sexuality-related issues too. 

Lohsnah is a trained provider of a parenting programme called Triple P (Positive Parenting Programme) and works actively with parents to better support their child/adolescent. 

Lohsnah strives to be an authentic and compassionate therapist who is committed to offering her clients a safe, and importantly a non-judgmental space. 

Dr. Janice Tan

Dr. Janice Tan has more than a decade of experience in clinical and forensic mental health. In addition to treating adults, elderly, and adolescents with mental health issues and offending/at-risk behaviours, she is also trained to assess criminal behaviours and is proficient in intelligence testing and personality assessments.

She has headed psychological services in ministries in the public sector and teaches as an adjunct lecturer at the Singapore University of Social Sciences and Singapore Institute of Management. She is also a clinical supervisor at James Cook University Singapore.

Andrew da Roza

Andrew da Roza is a qualified addictions psychotherapist who specialises in sex addiction. Andrew practices motivational interviewing, solution-focused brief therapy, and cognitive behavioural therapy to help clients identify their values, goals and strengths to enact positive change in their lives.

Currently, Andrew is Chairman of We Care Community Services, and sits on the Board of the Singapore Anti-Narcotics Association.

Varian Monteiro

Varian Monteiro is a counselling therapist with considerable experience assisting clients with addiction, trauma, and relational challenges. He also assists clients in handling some of life’s toughest decisions. With his client-centered, biopsychosocial approach, Varian continues to lend a compassionate space to his international clientele.

Gaurang Bhatia

Gaurang Bhatia is an experienced counsellor based in Singapore. He provides psychology therapy to adults and adolescents with a wide range of mental health concerns. His specialist interest is in addressing trauma and addictions. Gaurang also works with couples/partners especially in context of betrayal trauma. He also works with LGBTQ clients. As a seasoned meditator, Gaurang incorporates mindfulness in his sessions.

Vikram Nair

Vikram Nair is a dedicated peer support specialist known for his collaborative approach in assisting people facing a spectrum of addiction and mental health challenges. Growing up with Dyslexia and ADHD, Vikram draws wisdom from his own lived experiences with mental health and involvement with 12-step groups.

Beyond his personal journey, Vikram brings a unique perspective to his work, blending his background in medicine to foster engaging and informed conversations. His vision extends beyond sharing personal experiences, aiming to leverage his diverse expertise to meaningfully contribute to the well-being of those he supports.

Passionate about addressing addiction, shame, and trauma within the LGBTQ+ community, Vikram strives to create a safe and supportive environment for individuals seeking assistance. Through his combination of personal insight and professional knowledge, Vikram embodies an empathetic, empowering, and holistic approach to peer support.
