Dr. Munidasa Winslow

Dr Munidasa Winslow specialises in addiction and impulse control disorders such as alcohol, substance dependence, gambling, gaming and sexual compulsivity amongst others. He is a pioneer in addiction and impulse control disorders in the Asia-Pacific region.

Before founding Promises, Dr Winslow served as chief of the Addiction Medicine Department at IMH. He played a pioneering role in the setting up of the National Addictions Management Service (NAMS).

Dr. Adrian Loh

Dr Adrian Loh is an experienced psychiatrist with a subspecialty focus in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. He has a special interest in Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, Anxiety Disorders and Neurodiversity, expertise in military, occupational and aviation psychiatry and a strong appreciation for the cross-cultural aspects of mental well-being.

June Fong

June Fong provides forensic psychological services to children, adolescents, and adults. She has experience in assessing and treating serious and violent offenders, and is well versed in family law cases, where she provides expertise in conducting child custody evaluations and conducts therapy for children of divorce.

Dr. Terence Leong

Dr Terence Leong is a Senior Consultant Psychiatrist who specialises in general adult psychiatry and medical psychiatry, and is respected in the field of forensic psychiatry.

Dr Leong has occupied multiple key roles at the National University Health System, which oversees several hospitals, national speciality centres, and polyclinics. In addition, he was also appointed to be a senior lecturer at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine.

Dr. Jacob Rajesh

Dr Jacob Rajesh is a Senior Consultant Psychiatrist experienced in general adult psychiatry and forensic psychiatry.

Dr Rajesh’s professional experience spans three countries. Early in his career, in India, he lectured in the Department of Psychiatry at the Christian Medical College. In the UK, he was largely a consultant psychiatrist while carrying out forensic work at mental health trusts. Finally, in Singapore, he was appointed assistant adjunct professor at the Duke-NUS Graduate Medical School and Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine.

Dr. Sean David Vanniasingham

Dr Sean David Vanniasingham is a consultant psychiatrist experienced in general psychiatry, addiction medicine, and neurostimulation treatment.

Dr David graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelors in Medicine and Surgery and subsequently attained his post-graduate degree from the Royal College of Psychiatrists. After completing his psychiatry residency training, he practiced as a psychiatrist at the Institute of Mental Health (IMH) and the National Addictions Management Service (NAMS).

Dr David has a vast experience in treating patients from both inpatient and outpatient settings. He has treated a wide variety of conditions including depression, anxiety, OCD, ADHD, psychosis, addictions, stress-related conditions and insomnia. He is also trained in in the practice of neurostimulation treatment modalities such as electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) and transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS). Dr David is a firm believer of practicing a bio-psycho-social model approach in the holistic and recovery-oriented care of his patients.

Dr David is passionate about the education of young doctors. He was awarded the National Healthcare Group teaching recognition award for medical educators. He has also presented at conferences and given public education talks. Dr David is a fellow at the Academy of Medicine Singapore and is currently serving as an executive committee member of the Singapore Psychiatric Association.

Dr. Lynette Rama

Dr. Lynette M. Rama obtained a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Palo Alto University with a focus in forensic psychology. The specialised programme consisted of graduate coursework in the clinical practice of forensic psychology, practical training with forensic populations within the US criminal justice system, and a dissertation in cultural issues related to the feigning of Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).

Her expertise includes inpatient and outpatient care for a culturally diverse population of adults presenting with severe mental illness, trauma, anxiety, depression, substance use, and problems with stress and adjustment related to gender identity. She is also trained in the use of psychological, psychodiagnostic, neuropsychological, and forensic assessments to evaluate academic functioning, diagnose psychopathology, determine neuropsychological deficits, and to provide expert witness testimony in court on competency to stand trial and future violence risk (general & sexual).

Dr. Janice Tan

Dr. Janice Tan has more than a decade of experience in clinical and forensic mental health. In addition to treating adults, elderly, and adolescents with mental health issues and offending/at-risk behaviours, she is also trained to assess criminal behaviours and is proficient in intelligence testing and personality assessments.

She has headed psychological services in ministries in the public sector and teaches as an adjunct lecturer at the Singapore University of Social Sciences and Singapore Institute of Management. She is also a clinical supervisor at James Cook University Singapore.

Tom Maniatis

Tom has over 20 years of professional experience in addiction treatment provision, predominantly working in government-contracted treatment services in the UK.

This included delivering group and 1-1 therapy in various prisons, and regional community outpatient drug and alcohol treatment centers.

His wealth of knowledge has led him to various responsibilities, including quality checking/inspecting treatment centers, educating medical personnel on treatment methods, and managing regional treatment services involving large multidisciplinary teams.

His clientele most often includes people with very complex needs, and his extensive and diverse experience as a therapist means that he is able to think outside the box, handling highly complex and sensitive situations with confidence.

Tom never gives up on clients and utilises a trauma-informed, neurodiversity friendly, LGBTQIA+ affirming, and compassionate approach.

Sara Chiang

Sara provides forensic psychological services to children, adolescents, and adults. She assists in the forensic assessment process, drafting forensic medicolegal reports and psychological assessments, offering valuable insights into complex cases. Beyond assessments, she also provides psychological therapy. With specialization in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), she offers compassionate support to clients navigating a spectrum of mental health concerns such as anxiety and depression.
