Role:
- Qualified and experienced in conducting psychological assessments for a range of learning difficulties and neurodevelopmental disorders, such as Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Specific Learning Disorders, as well adaptive functioning and social/emotional/behavioural assessments
- Provide psychological intervention and therapeutic support for children and youth across a range of social, emotional and behavioural issues.
- Provide detailed recommendations for the individual needs of the child, and to work together with parents and school in formulating strategies
- Contribute to mental health promotion programme and psychological duties within the organisation
- Work together with a multi-disciplinary team to treat complex cases
- Provide casework and systems consultation to school personnel on issues pertaining to the support of students with special educational needs and other learning and behavioural difficulties
- Design and conduct training related to special rights and mental health for school and parents
Requirements:
- At least a Master’s Degree in Educational, Clinical or Applied Psychology from an accredited university
- Fully licensed or registered with a recognised psychological professional body such as SRP (Singapore), AHPRA (Australia) and HCPC (UK)
- At least 3 years post-qualification work experience in providing assessments and therapy of children and adolescents
- Being bilingual in two or more languages, e.g. Dutch, French, German, Japanese, Mandarin, Bahasa, would be an advantage
